Father, I pray for Godly sorrow that leads to repentance. All of us should be spending our eternity in hell, but for the grace, mercy and long-suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ. None of us are righteous apart from Jesus. Father, I pray for the message of the gospel to be greater and bigger because had it not been for Jesus, no one would be saved. God, teach us to pray. Teach us to love. Illuminate our eyes to the compassion You had even on us. I pray for the Church. I pray for the world. I pray for every people group. I pray for salvation because our God takes no delight in the destruction of the wicked. It does not delight our Father’s heart when someone perishes. Lord, thank You for the grace You’ve shown towards me and to whom much grace has been given, much will be required. God, give us the ears to hear what You are saying to the Church in this hour. We pray for the downcast, the brokenhearted, the suicidal, those dealing with uncontrollable anxiety, anger, fear, frustration, desperation, hopelessness, guilt, shame, rejection, abandonment, and anything else that comes straight from the pits of hell. We say like Jesus said “let God arise and His enemies be scattered.” We will be known by our love. Jesus said love our enemies. Bless those who persecute us and say all manner of evil against us. God help me. Help us all. Our flesh doesn’t want to obey Your command to love.
