He is Able

“Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able…” Revelation 5:5

What is on your to-do-list for today? Just today. Let’s not even think about the week or the month or the upcoming Christmas season.

Today’s list describes an array of tasks from work responsibilities to family life and church community. We have relationships that take time to build and nurture. Preparation for meetings and classes and presentations fill the schedule. We must attend to the mundane tasks and the heart-wrenching life situations. It can all be overwhelming. The amount of physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental stresses that come at an individual can simply feel too much to manage. How do we simply get through the day with our eyes on Jesus?

We declare our God, our Savior, Christ Jesus, the Spirit of God – He is able!

All our prayer requests for safety, protection, deliverance, healing, witness, provision, preparation, relationships, reconciliation, salvations, deliverance, help, strength, daily bread, forgiveness, and favor… He is able!

We declare that the God we serve is able to deliver us!

We declare that the God we serve is able to guard that which we have entrusted to Him.

We declare that God our Savior, who was tempted and suffered, He is able to help.

We declare that our Savior is able to completely save those who come to God through Him.

We declare that our Savior is able to deal gently with those who are going astray.

We declare that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or imagine, according to His Power that is at work within us.

(Daniel 3:7; 2 Timothy 1:12; Heb 2:18; Heb 7:25; Heb 5:2; Ephesians 3:20,21)

So, whatever comes your way today and the weeks ahead, whether it be doubt, fear, anxiety, difficult situations or people, even opportunities… He is able to see you through and grant you the help that you need as a child of God. His love for you is immeasurable and He fights for you. He is able to answer your prayer. He is able to accomplish what concerns you each day, and more!

Prayer: Father, we praise you for being our All Sufficient God! This day we surrender our schedule, our family, and our life to you and trust that you are able to provide all we need. We will seek your face every day until your soon return, and we declare the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed, and He is able! Amen.
