Prayer for unshakeable trust in God

Lord Almighty, You are a Holy God, our Creator God, and we enthrone You on our praises today! You are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You are the Eternal God showing love to a thousand generations of those who love You and keep Your commandments. Your love, righteousness, justice, and faithfulness toward Your people are immeasurable!
Your name alone is the Lord God Almighty, the Most High over all the earth! You alone are worthy!

“1 I lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
The Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV)

During this unprecedented, defining moment of history, we ask that Your Church not look to the gods of this age, but may Your holy people, the people that You are building into a spiritual house, a royal priesthood look to their Maker and Creator! We ask that Your people look to Jesus, the Cornerstone, the Living Stone, the Rock of their salvation. We do not rely on our own strength or the strength of our government, monetary resources, education, social status, religion, technology, etc… But we rely on God alone! We boast in Christ alone!

“3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.”
Psalm 121:3-8 (NIV)

35” Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword…No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:35,38-39 (NIV)

Father God, in these uncertain times when many are under great distress and threatened concerning their health, finances, work situation, and relationships, we ask for a sure confidence in God alone. We ask for wisdom, spiritual understanding, and supernatural faith to know You better. We ask for a deep devotion to seek Your face and live joyfully in Your Presence moment by moment, day by day. We ask for ears to hear what the Spirit has to say to His Church.

You are God above all! You know all things, hold all things, and have purposed all things. We will fear the Lord and trust Him! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
